During childbirth, the Medicvent Double Mask with neck band is recommended. The neck band ensures that the expectant mother’s exhaled air is captured when the mask is not in use, making the mask more accessible for the patient.
Medicvent’s unique Double Mask
Medicvent’s unique Double Mask ensures effective evacuation so that excess gas and leaking gas do not escape into the working environment – unlike single masks. The Double Mask consists of a hard outer mask made of transparent polysulfone and a soft inner mask made of transparent silicone. Between the outer and inner masks, there is a space where leaking gases are evacuated via the coupling housing and evacuation tubes. The coupling housing connects the double mask with the current tubing system (standard ISO cone).
