Central System, single

The Medicvent Central System Single is designed to handle a flow of 280 m³. For example, it can simultaneously extract 35 m³ per hour from 8 suction outlets for Medicvent Double Masks.

Note! The system does not meet the requirements of SS-ISO 16571:2024 for the evacuation of smoke from surgical instruments. According to the smoke evacuation standard, a redundant system is required for smoke evacuation. Read more about our redundancy systems here.

The system consists of a side channel fan with specific performance characteristics in terms of pressure curve and noise. It is controlled by a frequency-type motor controller programmed to minimize power losses in the fan. The system is fully automated. The motor control is connected to a Medicvent pressure regulator. The pressure regulator is attached to the fan’s suction duct and controls the motor controller to adjust the fan speed according to the required flow.
